UAP's getting a face lift ;)

So I have been slaving the past night and day to create a new myspace layout for Under Attack Promotions (www.myspace.com/underattackpromotions).

Pretty much, I am sick of the old layout and over time with myspace constantly changing their strings, attributes, etc.

That it called for a new layout and esspecially with the new year/season ahead.

Why not?

So, if you have seen the current/old layout, then you can follow me in my explanation.

Pretty much, I wanted the new layout to be more functional/interactive, easier to navigate and easier to change things when needed.

So I completely scraped all the past code/style and started fresh.

One of the main things I wanted was a better Artist Feature.

With the old one, Artist of the Month meant their song as profile song for a month.

Oh and a link, it was nothing bands could look forward too.

So with this new one I revamped it.

Now, when they get Feature Artist, they get one whole section for them.

Which has, their name, band photo, band bio, player and complete linkage.

And it's been put right at the top.

Now, that's something band's can get amped about =)

The next feature I worked on was how the flyers worked.

Originally it has been a maximum of 4 flyers (2 UAP supported and 2 Non Supported) showing on the front page.

Now this wasn't a good system when it came to having a bundle of flyers.

Which meant they'd only get promo closer to the date of their gig.

So what I did this time is wrote up a Marquee for them.

So on the left side, it will automatically scroll through all flyers.

This allows everyone to have the chance to be seen.

I am still working on other things.

But, the biggest thing would be the style change.

I am hoping to have this all perfected and due for release either on Jan 1 or Xmas day.

Thursday now, ey?

Fairly awesome =)

Last night was fairly awesome, drove and saw Emma.

Then went and saw Kurt & Renee, which was good to still catch up and had all of our lol's.

Then went and saw Shaun, we chatted for a fair bit, which was cool.

Came home and went to bed at 10:30pm, had my phone next to me, waiting on Ashlyn to call haha.

Which I fell asleep and missed her call =O! gay as haha.

So, now I'm up, had peanut butter sandwiches, watching Dr Phil again LOL and now behind my pc again.

Interesting to see, what goes on for the rest of the day haha.

Dr. Phil is talking about rape too.

So I'm gonna go watch more.

So I feel I have to update this probably twice a day ahaha. 

One at the start and One at the end?

Just the way plan on doing it haha.

So, today went alright, another slightly boring day.

I sat around waiting for any job calls, made food, watched Dr. Phil (LOL) and played a little zelda.

Which for any zelda fans, I got a new record for Fire Temple, 24 minutes 34 seconds, including boss fight ;).

Then I went for a drive to chirny and saw some peepz, chilled and came home.

Petrol was also below $1 today =O!

Bargain and apparently the prices will jump up tomorrow, so was lucky and got some today =).

After I came home, Heroes Season 3 Episode 12 had finished downloading.

So I made some food and kicked back to it.

I love Heroes so much haha.

They made Season 3 reeeally good, where as S2 failed hardcore.

I wont write any spoilers as its still got a good 2 weeks to air on Australian freeTV.

Now, I'm sitting behind my pc, playing zelda some more as once I start I need to finish haha. So just about to enter Water Temple ;)

Top of the mornin' to ya!

So, best sleep ever =O!

Went to bed at 11pm last night, which is the earliest in agggges, woke up just before, so its a little over 12 hours of sleep hahaha, love it!

Currently just started cooking chicken noodles ;)

And just about to enter Fire Temple on Ocarina of Time.

To Be Cool =O

Sup kids,

So Fing made one of these and I decided I may just get busy with it LOL.

There is alot of stuff that I could blog, so I will choose some things to put in it.

Firstly, to any new peeps I am Eddy.

I am a 20 year old man hailing from the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.

My life revolves around a number of things.

Family - I love them to pieces, they are the people that will always understand me, the people that will always be there for me and that I will always be there for.

Friends - My mates mean the world to me. Whether it's been Kurt, Kane, Coffey or Adam, the kids that have known me the longest, especially kane on the knowing length. Then onto the kids who pulled me through high school, Shaun, Jamie, Scott, Pitsy, Suss and Andrew. Then later years of high school I would meet the best friends that anyone could have Fing, Nik, Emily, Ben, Helena and Ethan. Then as of late, the 'gows kids. Fing, Nik and Jase. ily these kids the most.

There is so so so so so many more others in between, whether it be the old city crew, to old gigging mates, to latest friends.

The ones listed have made solid impact on my everyday life at those stages of life.

Music - I am massive about my music. I was raised with music and now I live with it.

I am very open when it comes to music, whatever strikes my mood. Whether it be a mood for hardcore, acoustic, emo, punk, pop, metal, hip hop, rap or a little techz.

But I will always have my favourites, my current favourites to name would be:

Emery, Blink 182, Motion City Soundtrack, City And Colour, Sky Eats Airplane, Underoath, I Set My Friend On Fire, No Way Out, New Found Glory, The Ghost Inside, etc.

The list drags on and on and on.

I also love to play music here and there, I have grown up being the only one of my brothers and sisters to play the piano.

As we have a piano which has been passed down in our family since my grand grand grandparents.

I also play bass and guitar and I love to try out other instruments.

Gaming - My god, where can I start. I'd actually say that I am HUGE on games and I'm not afraid to say that. It'd probably border beating Music.

For consoles, I have xbox 360, wii, PSP, DS, Gameboy, Gamecube, Nintendo 64, Playstation 2, Playstation x and Super Nintendo and of course, my pc. But its not a console haha.

If people say they know me well and if they were asked what is my favourite game and they answered anything, but legend of zelda. Then they don't know me at all LOL.

I am a self confessed Zelda freak, I've played them all and completed them all. I frequently still play Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess.

I have all zeldas, except for the nes cartiridge of the first zelda. Alas, I got it on gamecube disc.

I have 4 copies of Ocarina of Time, if you include master quest. The limited edition n64 cartiridge, limited edition zelda promotional disc w/ Zelda 1, 2, Ocarina and Majora's, then I have the Bonus Wind Waker disc, which has Ocarina and Master Quest on it.

I also have a Link Costume and a replica Hyrulian Shield hung above my bed.

One of my main life goals is to meet Myamoto and get him to sign all my shit, then possibly hug him for a while haha.

Besides Zelda, I also am massive on MMO's. I have been an MMO fan since year 7, which would be 2001. So that's nearly 8 years of MMO's.

Runescape, Graal, Knights Online, KAL online, GunZ, 2Moons, 9 Dragons, ACE Online, Age of Conan, Anarchy Online, Cabal Online, Puzzle Pirates, EverQuest, Final Fantasy XI, Flyff, Guild Wars, Habbo Hotel (God Forbid), Lord of the Rings Online, MU Online, Pirates of the Burning Sea, Ragnarok Online, Rappelz, ROSE Online, ZU Online and the only MMO that I still played since its very release 4 years ago, World of Warcraft hahaha.

Graal, I have played well over these 8 years, but WoW consumed more and was more intriguing.

Oh and to all those, WoW players out there going "yo, hit me up", ill say hit me up.

Technology - I am also huge on computers, etc. I made my pc that I am on, I love problem solving and fixing them, it gives me something to do and I know I can do it.

The only problem with being the old geek in the house is, every tends to direct their pc rage at me hahaha.

It's like "Eddy, I clicked the wrong site and now the pc is dead. It's your fault, fix this piece of shit!".

hahaha, but it's alright, cause I love the problem solving aspects.

I am also a fair nerd when it comes to coding aswell, going from HTML to Java to C&C++ to Ruby, etc.

I used to code for a couple servers when I played Graal, which was fairly fun.

So, those sum up me pretty much.

Now onto other crap right? haha

Let's talk about recently.

Alright, so I think the main bother for me at the moment is being money.

I am looking frantically for a job, I have gone to 2 interviews this week =O.

So much stuff I want including new clothes, foxtel, hiptop and new pc upgrades.

So, once I have money rolling in, then I can start having more fun and not have my mates worry about what can we do this weekend that doesnt use money.

Next thing, would be the awesome P's =D.

Although, for the time using mums car. It's awesome being abit more independant and being able to drive out to Yarra and Coldy to see kids.

Rather than having to wait till the weekend to see them.

Ahhh next, I can't think of much now, but I can always reblog right?

FREAKING SOUNDWAVE 09!!

I have organised to meet up with all my old friends from years ago, etc.

And not too mention, to see my favourite bands on the one day!

Emery, Underoath, New Found Glory, From First To Last, Goldfinger, Jack's Mannequin, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Funeral For A Friend, Anberlin, Finch, Less Than Jake and Silverstein!

Freaking Awesome!

Although, one bummer so far. Emery and New Found Glory are playing at the same time.

They are the top 2 reasons for going hahaha.

I feel I will choose Emery and hope that NFG do a side show =O!

Maybe NFG could do a sideshow with Goldfinger and Less Than Jake?

That'd be killer gig!

So yeeeeeah, that pretty much concludes my blog, i cbf writing much more hahaha.
